Finally got around to setting up a SoundCloud account and profile. It’ll make looking for all those songs to play during get-togethers and parties a lot easier - with them all in one place - rather than racking my brain all drunk, trying to remember what it was that I’d listened to, two weeks or however long ago. Also, I’m about 90% sure that Tanner and I are going to Taipei come the end of the year. Considering how it was that I came to live in Seattle, who knows, maybe I’ll just never come back. Idealistic, and not as easy as moving from one end of the west coast to the other, I know. Still, it’s not so far fetched if properly researched and executed, so we’ll just have to see how things play out in time.

Last time I was truly in this position was back in the fall of 2010. In the end, it turned out to be a very humbling and positive experience - for a number of reasons - eventually leading into a much better end situation. Anyways, here’s to staying optimistic despite the weather. Literally and figuratively speaking.

Since last writing anything remotely substantial on here, I’ve come into a new living situation and a new job, working at a bar in Ballard - cutting out of my life some low-quality former roommates / friends and a now ex-girlfriend who proved to resemble a piece of dog shit more so than an actual person. School starts soon, which I’m a little anxious about, but things could definitely be worse. Glad that this crapshoot of a winter is finally winding down to a close. Oh, and the new Brothertiger full-length is effing rad.
